Welcome to Fall Quarter - Adding a class!
September 24th, 2006
Welcome to Fall Quarter 2006.
The registration system is now closed but you can still add classes until Friday October 6th with an instructor’s approval.
Traditional Face-to-Face classes
Attend the first class meeting and obtain an add code from your instructor. You can then use this code to add the class physically by going to the Registration office or by adding the class on-line.
Adding an On-line Class
Late adds for on-line classes begin on Monday September 25th… here is the procedure, which is similar for all instructors:
- On/after Monday the 25th, go to the following url:
http://www.foothillglobalaccess.org/cgi/register/register.cgi
- In the list find the class you are interested in and click on the “Request to Add” button.
Your request will then be waiting for me to approve it. Once I log-in and approve your request you will be e-mailed the information you need to enroll in the class.
Once you’ve officially added the class, then my on-line class shows you as ready and I will manually let you into the on-line ETUDES classroom.
I will then send you a welcome message outlining the first day/week procedures and how to get started and enter the on-line classroom.
Bear in mind that this entire process can take up to a day to get you to the point where you can log-in to the classroom. The sooner you actually follow the registration instructions, the sooner you will be able to enter the on-line classroom and get started.
Let me know if you have any questions or problems.
