This is detailed in the weekly guide that was uploaded for week 5, but there is a hands-on, 60 minute, quiz this Friday May 12 from 8:00 am to Saturday May 13 at 10:00 pm in ETUDES.
Its all CSS fixing. I give you the URL of an existing page with the HTML and embedded CSS. I ask you to make it work properly. Nothing tricky. You need to know how CSS rules are properly constructed and the basic property/values you used in the CSS assignment.
A real life exercise… your co-worker has messed up and you are called in at the last moment to fix the situation, and you will be the hero
I think this will be fun… can quizzes be fun… absolutely, especially if we learn from them.
If this time-window will not work for you then you need to contact me immediately to set up alternatives. If you forgot to take the last quiz… don’t forget… stick a note on your monitor… or refrigerator, what ever works best for you

There is an on-line quiz for the COIN 61 class this weekend.
It is availbable in the ETUDES classroom from Friday May 5 at 8:00 am through Sunday evening March 7 at 10:00 pm.
Note that I have extended the length of the quiz from what I originally published in the materials for this week… it ends on Sunday instead of Saturday evening at 10 pm.
Details are available at the COIN 61 website.
Let me know if you have questions or issues.

Friday May 5, 2006 is the last day to drop a Spring class without a grade on your transcript. If you drop before this date, your transcript will show no record of you being enrolled in this class.
It is also the last day that you can submit Pass/No-Pass cards to Admissions & Records, if you are interested in that option. This is something students must do, instructors cannot do this for you, and they are not informed that you have selected this option.
The next drop deadline is… if you drop a class after May 5, and prior to Friday June 2, you will receive a grade of “W” on your transcript.
If you do not drop a class by June 2, or you abandon a class… then your instructor has no option but to assign you your earned grade for a class… ouch!
It is the responsibility of the student to drop courses they are no longer actively engaged in… a friendly reminder of YOUR obligations.
If you are in one of my classes, and you are finding the time/schedule to be problematic, please contact me, ASAP!
